WAPA America is to launch a new original reality show competition “Transformacion Total” (Total Transformation) on January 30.

This new reality show will select 18 contestants from all regions of Puerto Rico and place them together in a house for 15 weeks. The contestants will work with a group of professionals as they take important steps toward adopting a new, healthy lifestyle.

The contestants will be trained physically and also will participate in seminars. They also will be counseled to tackle challenges in life. Doctors, nutritionists, physical trainers, motivational coaches, image consultants and psychologists will also work along with Contestants to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Transformacion Total will be hosted by former Miss Universe Zuleika Rivera and the competition will be based on points system which will take contestants’ healthy lifestyle transformation, participation in the different challenges, ability to live together in the house, and performance in the Final Challenge to account. The final winner will be awarded prize money of $50,000 in cash and more prizes.

Walmart, Chrysler, Subway, AT&T, Goya, General Mills and Glaxo have agreed to support and sponsor the show.

Jose E. Ramos, President of WAPA Television, said “This show will provide a wonderful opportunity to help the contestants adopt a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle and improve their self-esteem. The show will serve not only to transform the contestants inside and out, but will educate viewers everywhere on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles.”
