Vudu With 1,100 HD titles, Claims “Largest HD Library in Existence”

by admin on November 11, 2008

Vudu, which is an interactive media device used to distribute full length movies to any television, has announced that it offers more than 1,100 movies in high-definition for on demand viewing. Vudu is also planning to offer more high-definition content in November and December.

Vudu is now offering two HD formats like:

Superior HDX Format and

Instant Start HD

Vudu has added more than 150 high-definition titles per week in October to reach this position and Vudu says that it has more than 10,000 titles in VUDU library. Vudu movies offered can be played directly on television and no need to download or buffering streaming content, which also saves the Internet bandwidth for the subscribers.

Edward Lichty, Executive Vice President of Content at VUDU said “We’re certainly proud to offer the largest HD library on the planet, but the motivation to accomplish this really sprang from our customers, retail partners and home theater installation professionals, all of whom were asking for more HD content.”
