Verizon’s FiOS TV Signs Deal With Turner Networks And Sony

Verizon’s FiOS TV has reached a deal with Turner Networks and Sony, which will allow FiOS TV to provide more contents to its video-on-demand library. FiOS TV’s VOD line up will be enriched with contents from following Turner channels:

Adult Swim

Boomerang

Cartoon Network

CNN

TBS

TNT

TruTV and

Turner Classic Movies

FiOS TV will get many free movies from TBS, TNT and TCM; family-friendly entertainment from Boomerang and Cartoon Network every month.

Verizon’s FiOS TV with the help of Sony will receive recently released movies in HD like “Anaconda 3: Offspring,” “Hancock” and “Pineapple Express.”

Terry Denson, vice president – FiOS TV content and programming said “Because we’re delivering FiOS TV over the nation’s most advanced fiber-optic network, straight to customers’ doors, our subscribers can access interactive video services that help them save time and money, and enjoy unparalleled picture quality and programming choices for all their TV viewing.”
