The thirteenth season of The Amazing Race to be premiered on CBS on Sunday, September 28 at 8PM ET/PT. Many of the The Amazing Race’s fans were expecting the adventure show to be broadcast in high-definition but CBS has not revealed that the show would go in high-definition or not. There are 11 teams competing on The Amazing Race’s thirteenth season and will be covered over 23 days as they travel to Brazil, Russia, India and Bolivia.
Executive producer Bertram van Munster said “We shot most of that episode in the capital, People were a little afraid we were going to pull a Borat on them. I told them we weren’t doing Borat, but what happened there is very, very funny. It’s not easy to shoot in places like that because they practically have no television industry.”
