Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. announced that it has hired Dominic Mancuso as General Manager for WZTV-TV (FOX 17) and WUXP-TV (MNT 30) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Mancuso was the Vice President of Programming and Promotions for WFLD/WPWR in Chicago, IL. From 1987 to 2005, he held various management roles at WGN-TV, also in Chicago, where he served as Station Manager, Director of Sales, Local Sales Manager, and National Sales Manager. Prior to that and from 1982, Mr. Mancuso was an Account Executive for Blair Television, an Affiliate Sales Account Executive with Group W Satellite Communications, and an Affiliate Marketing Representative at The Entertainment Channel.
Steve Marks, Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair’s television group, said “Being responsible for the operations of three-stations in a single market is an attractive opportunity for me. Although the stations already have quality programming, a loyal viewer base and are active participants in the community, I eagerly look forward to working with the staff to build upon that foundation and provide even greater purpose for our local audiences and advertisers.”
