RCN Corporation Launches “Ebru TV” On Basic Cable Lineup

RCN Corporation has launched English language family channel, Ebru TV on its basic cable lineup on channel 53 to its subscribers in Boston, Chicago, Lehigh Valley, New York City, Philadelphia & Washington, D.C. Ebru TV offers programming from its new dramatic series, “Cold February,” which combines action, adventure, and intrigue, to “Tarchin and Friends,” where creative imagination and enthusiastic learning collide in a colorfully animated and energetic live-action program for children.

Richard Ramlall, SVP, Strategic External Affairs and Programming at RCN said “While it is targeted to Americans with Eastern European, Central Asian, North African and Near Eastern Backgrounds, Ebru TV offers rich and high quality family-friendly programming that all family members can enjoy. Since we are committed to offering the best and most diverse content to our customers, we are very pleased to add Ebru TV to our basic lineup.”

Ebru TV’s VP, Production Nasuhi Yurt said “The name Ebru comes from an art form, known also as water marbling, that is as unique as our audience.
