Dish Network Launches Local High-Definition Channels in Three Markets

Dish Network has launched local high-definition channels in three new markets on Aug.19. Dish Network now offers local HD channels in 152 markets that represent about 93 percent of US households. The satcaster has added local HD in following markets:

The Columbus/Tupelo local HD channels are:

WKDH (ABC) – Channel 45

WCBI (CBS) – Ch. 4

WLOV (FOX) – Ch. 27 and

WTVA (NBC) – Ch. 9

The Springfield local HD channels are:

KSPR HD (ABC) and

KYTV HD (NBC)

Dish Network has also added WSBT in HD in South Bend.
