Dish Network Launches Local HD in Three Markets

Dish Network has launched local high-definition channels in three more markets. Dish Network claims that the satcaster offers local HD channels in 90 markets, which represents 78 percent of U.S. TV households. The new HD stations available are:

KBMT - The NBC affiliate in Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas

WDBD – The Fox affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi and

WPMI – The NBC affiliate in Mobile, Alabama
