Cox To Carry GolTV in Greater Louisiana Market

Cox has reached an agreement with GolTV to carry the 24/7 soccer channel in its Greater Louisiana’s digital tier on channel 288 in the Baton Rouge and Acadiana markets. Spanish subscribers can watch following soccer programming on GolTV from Nov. 12.

Spain’s La Liga

Germany’s Bundesliga

German national team games and

Italian national team games

GolTV will also to present 2010 World Cup qualifying matches for the Spanish subscribers.

Rodrigo Lombello, COO of GolTV said “The international soccer season is underway on GolTV, and now Cox subscribers can join in the excitement as we venture around the globe to deliver coverage of some of the most intense matches in the world, like Cox, many cable operators are becoming more aware of the value of GolTV as an essential channel offering for Latino soccer fans.”
