Cox Recognized With 2009 North American Broadband Customer Value Leadership Award

Frost & Sullivan has awarded the 2009 North American Broadband Customer Value Leadership Award to Cox Communications to recognize the Cox’s most economical and secure packages for high-speed Internet customers. Cox provides a variety of Internet options for customers, ranging from the Economy/Starter package, which provides a low-cost, simple solution to get customers online, to Ultimate Internet services.

This award is based on a number of criteria important to customers, including responsiveness to customer needs, enhanced quality and reliability of products and technological innovation and leadership.

Gina Villanueva, research analyst for Frost & Sullivan said, “Given the current economic environment, many customers are price sensitive but still want the latest features, and Cox delivers both. By providing its customers with feature-rich Internet packages at a low price, Cox Communications shows that it understands the effect the economy is having on customers.”

Gary McCollum, Cox Senior Vice President and General Manager said, “We recognize customers have different needs from their Internet service provider. Some simply need an easy, affordable way to get online and others are looking for the fastest speeds and latest features. We strive to meet those needs and provide all our customers excellent value – which is evidenced by this award.”
