Comcast Launches ‘WAPA America’ in Colorado

Comcast has announced the launch of WAPA America to its subscribers in Colorado on May 5. WAPA America broadcasted from Puerto Rico for the Boricuas living in the US. This channel offers more original programming from Puerto Rico than any other station.

WAPA America is delivered on Comcast’s channel 617 in Denver Metro and Northern Colorado and in Colorado Springs on channel 295.

Bill Mosher, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Colorado Region said “This is exciting news for the thousands of Puerto Rican and Caribbean viewers living in Colorado, Puerto Ricans comprise the second largest Hispanic group in Denver and its surrounding areas and we are proud to offer highly-rated and culturally-relevant programming directly from the television leader in Puerto Rico. The launch of WAPA America represents an important addition to our comprehensive offering of Spanish-language channels.”
