AT&T’s U-verse has launched its programming services in Madison on Mon., Oct 27. AT&T will now join with only cable operator Charter Communications and also with satellite TV providers like DirecTV and Dish Network. AT&T in Madison offers channels ranging from 60 to 320, which includes more than 45 HD channels, depending up on the package the subscribe choose. AT&T has more than 780,000 in 15 states in the US and targeting to reach a million subscribers before the year end.
AT&T is offering its services in Milwaukee area for more than a year and has recently launched in parts of Green Bay and the Fox River Valley. Now adding Madison area into its services list the Telco is expected to travel to far south as Janesville and Beloit.
Shelley Goodman, AT&T general manager for Wisconsin and Illinois said “We will personalize the way people watch TV in a way that you will not see other providers offer, we want to get the service to as many customers as possible, as quickly as possible.
