AT&T And Campus MovieFest Launch 2008-2009 World Tour

Campus MovieFest (CMF) and AT&T Inc. have announced the launch of CMF’s 2008-2009 World Tour.
World Tour will begin from Berkeley, California and to be presented by AT&T. From the launch of the festival in 2000, CMF has provided opportunity for more than 150,000 young filmmakers with free resources to share their short films with a worldwide audience.

The teams which participate in the Campus MovieFest can can use the latest AT&T and Apple products and services for one week at no charge. AT&T is also planning to equip student teams with video-enabled 3G phones and encouraging them to use some of AT&T’s newest products and applications, such as Video Share, JuiceCaster and location-based mobile GPS services, within the films through the “AT&T Best Use of Mobile” category. The winners will receive prizes including new AT&T video phones and $250 AT&T gift cards for team leaders.

“We couldn’t be more fortunate to have the chance to empower so many talented and creative young people worldwide, while connecting them with the tools and people who can help them follow their passions,” said David Roemer, co-founder of Campus MovieFest. “Someday we’ll get a real job; until then, CMF continues to grow beyond our wildest dreams.”
